Santa Fe ArtWorld is pleased to announce their first online publicly viewed art competition: The Collector’s Choice Awards.
Entries are accepted from October 1, 2007 through January 25, 2008. Only entries outside of the United States will be accepted electronically all others are to be submitted on disk through the postal mail service with both a hard copy and digital copy of entrants paperwork.
Jurors vote: month of February, 2008
Judging: concluded the end of March 2008.

Competitions will be held twice a year, prior to the beginning of Art Season and following the end so that our Gallery Owners are able to participate as Judges along with Art Collectors and Gallery Owners and/or Directors as Judges, and Artists as Jurors.
The Collector’s Choice Award reserves the right to refuse art that is explicit or offensive in nature.
All submissions will be collected during the specified Submission Period and will be posted to the Collector’s Choice Awards page for the scheduled exhibit period. Entries can be made until the Jury begins.
The Exhibition Phase lasts for one month to give our Jurors time to make selections. All others will be removed.
At the end of the jury period, the remaining works move into a 2 week period of judging with the first round eliminating pieces that will not be passed on to the final stage of the competition.
The works will be considered by the following: Technique, Composition, Usage of Media, Most Innovative Style, Originality and/or Adeptness of Artistic Technique and Expression.
The Competition Rounds are divided into two classes and judged as follows:
CLASS I JURY SELECTION - ARTISTS
The First Round of Competition is a Class 1 Jury Selection comprised by Artists choosing as many artists they feel should be passed on to round II. All others will be eliminated from the page.
CLASS II JURY SELECTION GALLERY OWNER and/or DIRECTORS
The works chosen by the Artist Jurors, will then be judged in the final round by Gallery Owners/Directors and Collectors selecting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prizes, as well as Honorable Mention and the Timeless Award when applicable.
WINNING ARTISTS
First Place: $500.00
Second Place: $150.00 in Scholarship services from Santa Fe ArtWorld.
Third Place: $75.00 in Scholarship services from Santa Fe ArtWorld
Announcements of First, Second, Third Prizes and Honorable mention will be sent out to more than 500 organizations including: galleries, corporations, and interior designers.
All Winning Artists will receive certificates of Placement and will be invited to expand their credentials as Juror in the next competition.
